Valerie´s work explores the interrelationships between various materials and wood, as well as how furniture is an experience that stimulates both the haptic and visual senses. She believes that, while furniture affects us physically through its form and ergonomics, it’s interaction with us goes deeper to impact our mental state and our wellbeing.
